Shapes Stars Make, hailing from Dallas, Texas, crafts emotionally rich indie-rock heavy in post-rock influence. In April 2008, the band independently released their S/T EP, produced by John Congleton (The Appleseed Cast, Explosions in the Sky). SSM signed with Dreamt Music/Facedown Records in late 2009 and released their debut full-length album, "These Mountains are Safe," in January 2010.
