Tour Update 1
El Paso - The Garage Our time in El Paso surprised us. The turnout at The Garage was great, and the people and other bands were kind. A big thanks to Carmen and Jayden’s Playground for setting up the show…and a shout out to Jerome and Boom for letting us crash. And giving us the VIP treatment at the midnight showing of Predators.

We need a van...
As you may or may not have heard, we are going on Tour this summer (July 8-24) . We will be heading out west and playing shows in the following cities: el paso, tucson, san diego, los angeles, san francisco, portland, seattle, vancouver, boise, denver, kansas city, and oklahoma city. Recent goings-on...
If you were looking SSM on Saturday, you would have found us at The Granada in Dallas. We had an extremely good time playing with two great TX bands - The Rocketboys and Hendrick. In case you care, we love playing at The Granada. They are so pro. They are so fresh. They are profresh. Big thanks to Gee and Bill and all of the G-men who worked hard to make it a great night for everyone.

We are playing a great show on Saturday night (3/27) at the beloved Granada Theater with The Rocketboys of Austin and Hendrick. The doors open at 7pm, so get there early because we are going on at 8pm sharp (like some good cheddar or a quality pocket knife).

Austin and Dirty Dancing
Thanks to those who came out to our show during SXSW….except for the drunk group of men that were having a little too much fun with eachother….and the floor. At one point, one of the guys was helped up on to the stage (in the middle of a song) and proceded to “stage dive” into his posse. It was more like a sad trust fall. Unfortunately, no one at the club felt the need...

Addendum to Z’s post…His super human strength was made evident by the feat of actually flipping a 20” crash inside out. Confused? You know those rubber half-sphere toys that you flip inside out, set on a table, and they flip up into the air a few feet? Well, Zach accidentally did that to a cymbal…in the store…with the owner watching. Awkward.

So we got some new cymbals today! I’ve been cracking them like crazy so I had to get some that would stand up to My Powerful Triceps!!!! Went to this drum shop in Carrolton called Troy’s. It was pretty rad. MG and I tried out a variety and decided on some Dream cymbals. These things are intense. I don’t think i’ll be cracking these any time soon. Shapes is about to...
Release Week (in review)
